I first heard Serena in Millbrook in 2003, I think. To be honest I'd forgotten about that folk singer I'd heard at the fall fair... I remember enjoying her passion, but wouldn't remember her name. Then one day I saw her headline the Orillia Folk Festival and I was hooked. Passion! I wish a record could capture that passion so I could listen to her all the time like I felt her that night! Amazing... pure passion. Today her music represents a huge part of my life.

I have this album and love it to pieces, what a rich repertoire. But I have just heard Serena's verson of The Funeral, and I'd love to purchase the Deluxe edition on which that song is included. Alas I can't find the CD anywhere (don't do downloads, too hard for this little duck). Anyone who knows where it can be purchased, could you please let me know. Kind regards and thanks.

Got hooked on Serena Ryder when I first heard "Weak in the Knees" play on the radio. I was fortunate to see both of her performances in St. John's NL in 2009 and she was amazing! Such energy! Great performer singer and songwriter. Keep the songs coming Serena!

I had never heard of Serena until last night when she opened for Howie Day in NYC. I was so impressed by her!! She is such a talented singer and songwriter and I am telling all my friends.
